The artistic and cultural project of Movimento Centrale, Rimini, through the efforts of Claudio Gasparotto to promote a culture of dance as art.

Open to everyone in virtue of its vital and educative power according to a method of teaching that puts in first place, value and respect for the body, its capacity to listen and respond along with the exploration of its intelligence.

The Hobart Method

In 2005 Movimento Centrale became the first centre to include the 3 years training Hobart Method in their cultural programme. The training is directed towards those committed individuals wishing to undertake the study of dance with an educational scope.

Starting from the artistic and teaching concepts of Rudolf Laban, Mary Anthony and the psychotherapeutic work of Carl Rogers and from her artistic and educational experience, Gillian Hobart has traced a path of knowledge in dance that sustains and enhances the inner world of the students and allows beauty to emerge.

Specifically, the system is directed towards dancers, teachers, social worker, doctors, psychotherapists, therapists and sport trainers.
